Join us at the Laila Textiles Studio to discover the art of natural fresh flower eco-printing/ dyeing. In this 3 hour workshop led by natural dyer Liz Mortensen, you'll learn the basics of natural dye and how to bundle dye with plants and flowers. We will also be walking over to our dye garden to pick the flowers we will dye with!

Workshop will cover:

• Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers

• Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye

• How to naturally bundle dye fabric with fresh locally grown flowers & plants

• Each student will create and leave with a one-of-a kind bundle dyed 100% Silk Charmeuse 21x21 inch scarf as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop
