Experience the wonders of natural dyeing with fresh flowers at our 3-hour workshop led by expert natural dyer, Liz Mortensen of Laila Textiles. Gain a comprehensive understanding of natural dye techniques and discover the beauty of eco-printing with sustainably grown flowers from The Roof Crop.

Workshop will cover:

Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers
Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye
How to naturally eco-print fabric with fresh flowers
Each student will create and leave with a one-of-a kind bundle dyed 100% Silk Charmeuse scarf as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop
